Wise People Seek Him

"Where is the one who has been born king of the jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him." -- Matthew 2:2

I wonder how many sermons today were on the Magi -- wise men -- and their journey? They followed the star until they found the Baby Jesus.

It seems a little strange in our world today. They weren't too busy. They weren't too tired. They didn't have something else to do. God called and they went.

Today we too are called to seek Jesus. It is a time commitment. It may require turning off the television. It may require closing a door and upsetting a family member. It may require adjusting our schedule. Jesus sacrificed everything for us. Why do we find it so difficult to sacrifice a little time to grow closer to Him?
